Orange grove.jpg

We live and work in the province of Valencia, Spain.

For centuries oranges have played an important role in the history and economics of the area. The Moorish sultans originally brought orange trees to Spain as ornaments for their palaces and mosques, filling their gardens with the aroma of blossom. Orange trees line the streets and parks of the city to this day.

There are over 120,000 hectares of orange groves in the region and Spain remains the biggest producer and exporter of oranges in Europe.

WHY A SLICE OF ORANGE?
