From Manchester to Moraira.
After being a partner in a succesful Sign Company in North Manchester for several years myself and the family decided to relocate to Moraira in the Northern Costa Blanca in pursuit of a better climate and nicer environment for our daughter to grow up in.
Back in the UK our succesful sign business had a number of high profile clients, including the Supermarket chain Booths, Bolton Council, Seddon Construction, Salford Van Hire, Thwaites Brewery, Senator, Spar, Hyndburn Council, Galloways Bakers and Burger King to name but a few.
As well as creating bespoke designs for many of our clients we have also worked with Graphic Design houses such as Wolff Olins and Portfolio on projects that demanded colour consistency and attention to detail.
It is this attention to detail and pride in quality that we wish to maintain in our new business venture in Spain.
We have invested in the latest of Rolands' state of the art eco-solvent printers so all printing is done in house to maintain consistency. Using this printer we are able to print onto a variety of substrates; self adhesive matt, gloss and transparent vinyl, banner material, paper and canvas.
As you can see I have printed out and mounted a large map of Spain and Portugal and one of my favourite movie posters. (Perks of the job!)
The Roland is also equipped with a cutter that can produce decals with a contour cut around the outside for promotional stickers or to cut coloured vinyl for the production of sign graphics and vehicle lettering.
We are also equipped with a heated laminator and encapsulator that applies either a protective laminate film over the prints or encases the print front and back in a totally heat sealed film to resist the elements.
Shown in the image is a 5.2m x 2.8m wall mural produced for a local bar that was printed, laminated and then mounted onto board prior to fixing in position on the clients wall.
Please excuse the door off it's hinges in the corner, it needed planing as the bottom was catching!
